Let’s build a strong foundation:

There is no better time than now to set your puppy up for success. From the first day you bring your puppy home there are topics to prioritize that will set you and your puppy up for success as they grow up.

Puppy Prep is just as much for the owners as it is for your new pup.

Puppy Prep covers foundational skills such as

  • Name recognition

  • Potty training

  • Teething/ Bite inhibition

  • Crate training

  • Proper socialization (Yes, this is different than play!)

  • Leash handling & walking

  • Introduction to obedience commands (sit, stay, down, come, place)

  • Individual problem areas

As well as encouraging good behaviors before they sway in the wrong direction.

Puppy Prep consists of 6 private in home 1 hour lessons tailored to you and your pup introducing a new command each lesson.

Ages 4 months and older

Let’s get back to basics:

Overview:

Leash or no leash we’ll make your walks and basic commands a no brainer.

Obedience is the framework to advance your dog’s skills as they mature into adulthood.

Basic commands;

  • Heel

  • Sit

  • Stay

  • Down

  • Come

  • Place (go to your bed)

are taught first and then worked through real life scenarios and distractions. Working under distraction proofs you and your dog’s hard work and the line of communication that has been formed between you.

Off Leash Training

is completed with the incorporation of a remote E-Collar system. Using a balanced training method we are able to balance structure with reward which in turn gives your dog the freedom that they earn.

Program styles:

  • Private lessons are one on one sessions where we meet for one hour, typically once a week, to work together on your handling skills while teaching your dog along side. You then take what we have covered and practice daily until our next lesson before advancing to the next topic.

  • Our Day School that runs Monday through Thursday from approximately 9am to 3pm is a bootcamp style of training. This program option is a more intensive overhaul program, that still allows for your dog to come home at night to relax in their own home, replay the day’s work, and recharge for the next day. At the end of training a one on one graduation lesson is scheduled, where everything your dog has learned is transferred back to you as the owner in order to make training universal and brought home with you. This allows you to maintain your dog’s level of training and take it with you into your day to day life. Your maintenance and consistency of training afterwards is what keeps your dog at their best.

Behavior Modification

No age requirement

Let’s redirect and desensitize:

Whether your dog is reactive, aggressive towards others, or struggling with anxiety we are here to help desensitize your dog while working to counter-condition their behaviors and mental association with that stimulus.

Behavior Modification is done in small steps, typically through one on one private lessons. In most cases we are not only changing the habits of your dog but you as well. By improving your do’g’s confidence and trust in your handling under stressful encounters, we can better your relationship and communication to work together instead of against one another.

Some behaviors that can be addressed:

  • Anxiety

  • Destruction

  • Reactivity

  • Aggression

  • Fear

As this training differs by the needs of the dog and family, so do our program offerings. Please inquire for more information!

Phone/Virtual Trainer Consult

Trainer talks:

Sometimes before jumping into a full training program all you are looking for is some professional advice on what road to take, where to start, or general information on dog ownership, prior to getting a dog or while currently owning one.

This is where a consultation can make the most sense. Below are examples of some topics that can be discussed:

  • How to prepare for a dog- realistic time and financial commitment, what to buy for supplies now and what to wait on.

  • How to fulfill a dog’s needs.

  • I am gone for several hours a day- is my dog okay to stay home? What are my alternatives?

  • Strengthening your adoption/breeder application.

  • Do I actually need to re-home my dog? What are my options/ next steps.

Pricing ranges from $100- $3,500
